I don't think anyone would call either of these motors 'pretty' but the family resemblance is clear. I followed a Nomad down a dark country road one night, and I found myself thinking 'Land Rover series 1 lookalike on Mini Metro body'. I'd never even heard of the Nomad at that point. The side view as I overtook was enough to convince me of a connection, and led to me finding these pictures on the web. Looking at the first Nomad picture, it may well have been this one that I saw.
